The Freshman Braves would like to welcome back Jimmy Maiorino who just rejoined the team. Jimmy played for the Braves last season and is the brother of Sachem alumni Steven who played for the Sachem Braves, JV and Varsity teams during High School.

TEAM PHOTO NIGHT

Sunday October 5, 2008 is SACHEM PHOTO NIGHT!
All players must bring both game jerseys to practice that night and be dressed and ready 30 minutes before their scheduled ice time.
Coach Joe Posillico will be available to fill any special requests and take orders for any individual photos you might want.

Individual pictures make up date is October 19,2008.
Seniors please remember this is the team photo that will be in your class year book. Please make every effort to attend.


 
Attention all sachem coaches and Team managers

The  N.y.s.a.h.a. is starting a new screening policy for all members of our organization who have contact with our players.The screening will be done by an outside agency hired by New york state to ensure that anybody with a questionable background is not employed or volunteering around minors.This background check applies to all coaches and managers in N.Y.State, no exceptions.
You will find a link to the website through our homepage ,lower left , click on links tab and then click on the N.Y. State header , look for screening policy tab on the left. Fill out  and print copies to hand in to the league. Please do this  ASAP. Thank you.
 
Member suggestions/complaints

Any members wishing to make comments/suggestions/complaints should follow our bylaws below.
 
Article XIII: Complaint Procedure
Members having comments or complaints concerning an individual or team problem should voice these to the appropriate team manager. The team manager will bring this matter to the Head Coach for consideration and possible action. If the problem cannot be resolved, it can then be taken to the Board of Governors for final resolution.
 
Please do not bring up issues and complaints to a Board Member when a Board Member is attending a game for their child.  That is not the time nor the place.   Thank you.

Instructions to Register for a USA Hockey Card

 

Go to USAhockey.com

Click on Register on line (it is on the right hand of the upper part of the page)

Click on Ice Players and Coaches

Click the box that states you are 18 or older

Then hit Continue

Click on the 2008/2009 box

Click on a Child or Family Member Under 18

Begin to complete the form

When putting your phone number in do not use the dashes (-)

Click that you Accept the Waiver

Put your initials (it only takes two)

Click to Continue to Checkout

Click Continue if you are only doing one

Complete the billing information

Click Pay Now

Open and print the certificate – Make one copy for your records

And give a copy to your team manager.
